Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of the GoReportIt ticketing service at goreportit.com ("the service"). The service is operated by Andreas Philippou, an individual based in Cyprus ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to them. If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, that organisation ("you", "your organisation") agrees to them too, and the person accepting confirms they are authorised to do so.

The service

GoReportIt is a multi-tenant issue tracking tool: each organisation gets its own isolated workspace where reporters file tickets, staff triage and resolve them, and email and push notifications keep everyone informed. We may improve or change features over time.

Workspaces and accounts

A workspace is created either by signing up or by us on your behalf. The person who creates it is its administrator and can invite others. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential, for activity under your account, and for the accounts your administrators create. Tell us or your administrator promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, do not:

• upload content that is unlawful, or that you have no right to share;
• upload malware or attempt to breach, probe or overload the service;
• attempt to access another organisation's workspace or data, or bypass workspace isolation or role restrictions;
• use the service to send spam or abusive messages.

We may suspend or delete a workspace or account that violates these rules.

Your data

Your organisation owns the tickets, comments and attachments it puts into its workspace. We act as your data processor for that content and only use it to operate the service, as described in the privacy policy. A workspace administrator can download a full copy of your data (tickets, comments, history, users and attachments) at any time while the workspace is active, from the Logs page in the admin area.

Data deletion

You may ask us to delete your workspace at any time. Deletion permanently removes the workspace's tickets, comments, attachments, accounts and settings; it cannot be undone, so export anything you need first. A minimal security audit record that the workspace existed and was deleted is retained.

Availability and support

We work to keep the service available and backed up, but it is provided "as is" without a guaranteed uptime level unless one is agreed with your organisation in writing. Planned maintenance and outages beyond our control can interrupt the service.

Fees

Where a paid plan applies to your workspace, the fees, billing period and any trial are those presented to you when you subscribe. Free or trial workspaces may be subject to usage limits. Billing is per staff seat (an agent or admin who works the help desk); reporters, who only raise tickets, are free and unlimited. Prices are shown exclusive of any tax that we are required to add.

Founding offer

A limited number of early staff seats across all customers are offered at a founding rate of 50% off the standard price. Founding pricing is available only while founding seats remain, and the number remaining is shown on the pricing page. Once an account has started on the founding rate, that rate applies to the seats it holds, and to further seats it adds while founding seats remain, for the first twelve months from the account's first paid date. At the end of that twelve-month period every seat on the account moves automatically to the then-current standard price, with no action needed on your part. We will email the account's administrators at least 30 days before this change takes effect. The founding rate does not combine with the annual-prepay discount below.

Monthly and annual billing

Seats can be billed monthly or, where offered, prepaid annually. Annual prepayment is charged for twelve months up front and includes two months free compared with the monthly rate. Each purchase of seats is its own subscription on its own billing cycle. Seats added later are a new purchase, charged at that time for a fresh term (monthly or a new twelve-month annual term) and renewing on their own date.

Changing seats

You can add seats at any time; the change takes effect immediately and is charged at the time of purchase. Seats are reduced by cancelling a purchase, which takes effect at the end of that purchase's current paid period: you keep those seats until then, and part-period reductions are not refunded. You cannot reduce seats below the number of staff currently assigned in your workspace.

Refunds

Annual prepayments are refundable within 14 days of purchase. After 14 days, and for monthly payments and part-period seat reductions, fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law gives you a right that cannot be waived.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profits or loss of data arising from the use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount your organisation paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Termination

Your organisation may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for material breach of these terms if the breach is not remedied within a reasonable time after notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and the courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, except where the law of your country gives you a right that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes we will notify workspace administrators by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that means acceptance of the new terms.
